    • 1664CA Austria, Vienna. 3 Kreuzer NGC Mint State 63

Leopold I “The Hogmouth” One of my favorite historical characters, and I’m not even sure why. Perhaps it’s because we have such an easy time calling the man Leopold the Hogmouth today. I’m fairly sure that in 1664 not too many people said that publicly. This piece has great luster and lots of history!

An absolutely stunning example of this early silver minor. Perfectly centered with a great strike, booming luster and no distracting spots. The obverse features St. Rupert, the reverse has two shields, value and date. A truly exceptional coin!

Hieronymous. A nice mint state cameo coin with no problems. Hairlines in the obverse fields account for the grade. The reverse is very nice. Overall a decent early coin.
